| The Maumee Thunder are select teams. They provide Maumee girls the opportunity to play against top level competition in a summer league and in weekend tournaments. The Thunder is Summer only. Part of the Thunder mission is to provide players with advanced coaching techniques under the direction of the High School staff. Maumee Thunder’s costs are ½ of similar such organizations. The Thunder is funded by player fees and fund raising events. The Maumee Thunder does offer players from outside the community if the team has a specific need (ex. experienced pitcher). |
